What drives me
If you let me talk, I can talk for hours on the subjects I am passionate about. But talking is only the prelude to action. I act through leadership, service and driving sustainability.
LEADERSHIP

I lead the way I want to be led: through inspiration, engagement and collaboration. I have driven organizational transformations to improve profitability, culture and sustainability. Some of my achievements include successfully implemented behavioural safety program for Croda Netherlands; developing purpose, vision, values and inspirational leadership during my time in Croda 2020 EMEA Leadership team and coordinating Croda's global decarbonisation roadmap to reduce emissions by 50% from 2018 to 2030. Outside of Croda, I have lead through several executive and advisory board positions at organisations such as European Federation of Chemical Engineering. I also drive the sustainability agenda in thought leadership and ambassadorial roles at organisations such as World Energy Council and European Commission.
SERVICE

I was lucky enough to be raised by people who taught me giving back is the one guiding principle. My personal hero, my grandma, has proved to me one has never too little to share with others. I spent my early childhood in Accra, Ghana, where I watched my grandma’s house always being open to people and where sharing what you had on your table built communities, sense of togetherness and gratitude that kept expanding further than your immediate circles. It was her who showed me giving can be more gratifying than receiving. I strive to keep her teaching alive, giving my time and dedication to organisations such as Red Cross, Unicef, Food Foundation Bank and Amnesty International. I have worked with children with disabilities, elderly who need assistance and the youth looking for a mentor, amongst many others. It is a privilege to work with people who continue to teach me so much about our shared humanity and inspire me to keep on going.
